She gazes at you from atop her hill,
the place she will be forever more,
because she has found you, and you have found her,
so you hold you gaze just to be sure.
A smile plays across you lips,
he's an over reflection of how you feel,
your heart skips,
and you watch him keel.
Her hair is of golden silk,
eyes of bluish skies,
like a baby, she is your milk,
oh how she makes you high.
You don't know where he stands,
temporary or for real,
too far away to make plans,
confused about the deal.
She wants it half, you want it whole,
so she takes nothing at all.
Too hard for your soul,
you give her the call.
Your togther with no distractions,
a speech made to fix your mind,
They say words speak less then actions,
but you know you were never blind.
Now it's too hard to speak for what you do,
I guess the heart wants what the heart wants,
but to break what you know is true,
I'll be back to haunt.
